WHAT IS ASSEMBLY PARK?
The Plano Market Square Mall was built in 1983 and was originally named the Outlet Mall of Americas. In 2020, Triten Real Estate Partners presented a plan revolving around a mixed-use concept that was centered on a large community park. The plan included opportunities for creative office space, retail and restaurants, urban-styled apartment living, a central park that would feature modern outdoor seating, lawn games, event space for fitness, live music, and movie screenings, a dog park, and an area devoted to young children and families. The plan was unanimously approved by both Plano Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council and at this moment Assembly Park was born.

Assembly Park was designed around a simple idea: create a place where people have more reasons to come together. At the center of it all is the park, connecting places to work, live, dine and spend time outside while creating a shared gathering place for the broader community.

Originally built in 1983 as the Outlet Mall of the Americas and later known as Plano Market Square Mall, the property spent decades as a familiar East Plano landmark.
In 2020, Triten Real Estate Partners introduced a new vision for the site: transform the former mall into a walkable mixed-use destination centered around community and the outdoors.
Today, Assembly Park brings that vision to life with creative office, dining, urban living at The Annabel, a central park, hike and bike trails, a dog park and gathering spaces designed for outdoor fitness, live music and everyday connection.
Rather than erase the site’s past, Assembly Park gives it new purpose.
